Questions

Questions before you lift

Straight answers for adults new to lifting and athletes ready to push further.

Still deciding?

Call the gym and talk to a coach direct.

I've never lifted before. Will I keep up?

Yes. The beginner on-ramp teaches you the core lifts one-on-one with a certified coach before you step into a small-group class, so you walk in knowing what to do.

What happens in a small-group class?

A certified strength coach runs you and up to 11 others through a programmed session, coaching your form on every set from warm-up to the last lift.

Do I need personal training before I start?

No. The beginner on-ramp covers what you need. Personal training is there if you want a program built entirely around you.

What's the difference between open gym and classes?

Classes are coached and run on a schedule, capped at 12 people. Open gym gives you the same serious equipment to run your own session, on your own time.

Is nutrition coaching part of a membership?

It's offered alongside your training. Ask a coach on your first visit and they'll set you up.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday 5am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 2pm, on East Cesar Chavez Street in Austin.
